Buckle Up! The Cars 2 Video Game Is On The Way!

As many of you already know, Cars 2: The Video Game is scheduled to hit retail shelves on June 21! And coincidentally, that is just one day before the movie Cars 2 hits the big screen in what many movie analysts think will be one of the hottest movies of the summer season F95ZONE. Many game insiders have also hinted that the Cars 2 video game will also be a runaway success.

After all, you have Disney, Pixar and Avalanche Studios in a combined effort on the game! For those of you that aren’t familiar with Avalanche Studios, this is the same company that designed the hit game Toy Story 3: The Video game and the video game for the original Cars movie. So mix all 3 companies together and the end result is that the Cars 2 video game is sure to bring all the wild and wacky humor along with the personality of the movie into a video game that from all early indications, will capture the hearts of gamers both young and old.

Speaking of early indications, many of you have most likely seen the early release teaser clip called “Secrets” of the Cars 2 video game that has been floating around the web. Kind of makes you want more right? Well, sadly to say that is all we will have until the release date.

But let’s take a look at what is known so far about the Cars 2 game. First of all you will notice that the game itself closely follows the international spy theme of the movie. Players will have the ability to choose from over 20 different Cars characters in which to compete in hair-raising, action packed spy adventures (and let’s not leave out laugh inducing) as well as engage in world-class racing.

Initially this Cars 2 game will bring players into the confines of C.H.R.O.M.E. Which stands for Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage. After all, what is a spy movie with some type of headquarters right? Inside CHROME, your character will train to become a world-class spy and become familiar with high tech gadgets that will assist you in your spy adventures.

But the story line mode from the movie isn’t the mode of play in the Cars 2 game. Oh no. After all, what good would a Cars game be if racing wasn’t included right? And many game insiders think this is where the game will really shine. Like many other racing games, the Cars 2 game will have multiplayer mode in a split screen format. And in this mode your chosen character can pick up weapons and power ups along the course of the racetrack to be used against your opponents.

Another very cool feature that is built into the Cars 2 video game is that players will able to connect to World Of Cars online. This is a free to play MMO (massive multiplayer online) universe based on Disney and Pixar’s Cars. Think you gamers might enjoy that? Bet you will!
